ANOTHER 76 games for Geelong is all Patrick Dangerfield needs to potentially disappoint Adelaide fans all over again.
That's because the 2016 Brownlow medallist has announced he and wife Mardi are expecting the arrival of their first child in July and – if it's a boy – Dangerfield is only about three full seasons shy of reaching the 100-game father-son milestone for the Cats.
Not that we're getting ahead of ourselves.
Dangerfield played 154 games for Adelaide, but broke Crow hearts at the end of 2015 by deciding to move back to Victoria to be closer to family in Moggs Creek.
The superstar midfielder took to Instagram on Monday to reveal the baby news, with voiceover provided by veteran announcer Craig Willis.
"Patrick and Mardi are proud to announce a new Dangerfield for 2017, and I'm feeling Craig is the perfect name," Willis said.
"This ultrasound has been brought to you by the obstetrician, in association with the bedroom."
