The match day report against Carlton's Jarrad Waite for striking St Kilda's Clinton Jones from Friday's game was assessed. It was the view of the panel that while high contact was made by Waite, the Carlton player had his eyes on the ball at all times. As such, it was regarded as a legitimate attempt to spoil. No further action was taken.

The match day reports laid against Richmond's Brett Deledio and West Coast's Darren Glass from Sunday's game for wrestling each other were assessed. It was the view of the panel there was no serious grappling for any length of time to constitute a wrestle. No further action was taken.

Contact between Carlton's Brendan Fevola and St Kilda's Max Hudghton from the second quarter of Friday's match was assessed. It was the view of the panel that the impact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.

Contact between Geelong's Cam Mooney and Fremantle's Rhys Palmer from the first quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. On the basis of the available video evidence, no high contact was made and no further action was taken.

Contact between Geelong's David Wojcinski and Fremantle's Chris Tarrant from the first quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. Although some high contact was made to Tarrant, it was the view of the panel that Wojcinski was bent over trying to gain possession of the ball. As such, the contact was deemed to be accidental. No further action was taken.

Contact between Fremantle's Mark Johnson and Geelong's Steve Johnson from the first quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. It was the view of the panel that the impact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.

Contact between Geelong's Jimmy Bartel and Fremantle's Rhys Palmer from the second quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. It was the view of the panel that no high contact was made in the bumping action. No further action was taken.

Contact between Fremantle's Robert Warnock and Geelong's David Wojcinski from the fourth quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. It was the view of the panel that no high contact was made during the bump. Wojcinski accidentally hit his head on the knee of an opposition player as he went to ground. No further action was taken.

Contact between Sydney's Luke Ablett and Hawthorn's Luke Hodge from the first quarter of Sunday's match was assessed. It was the view of the panel that no high contact was made, with contact being made to the shoulder region. No further action was taken.
