NEWLY appointed Carlton football boss Brad Lloyd will waste no time in getting to work at Ikon Park, starting on Monday.
Lloyd parted ways with Fremantle on Wednesday, just 24 hours after signalling his intentions to move on from the Dockers.
Outgoing Carlton head of football Andrew McKay will spend one week in a handover role, departing after the Blues' round 23 clash with Adelaide.
Former Dockers list boss Lloyd will bolster Carlton's approach to this year's NAB AFL Trade Period alongside general manager of list management Stephen Silvagni and list manager Michael Agresta.
With Lloyd leaving his post at list boss at Fremantle, it leaves the Dockers needing to restructure its recruiting department ahead of the Trade Period.
Lloyd, the brother of Essendon champion Matthew and Geelong football boss Simon, spent 11 years at the Dockers, predominantly based in Melbourne.
