Freo makes history
Fremantle v Geelong, round three, Subiaco Oval
Nominated by Joseph Giangiulio
Paul Duffield's goal against Geelong for Fremantle in round three, giving Fremantle their first three wins in a row from the start of a season and a win over the premiers of 2009.

Bradshaw's torp to sink the Lions
Sydney Swans v Brisbane Lions, round six, SCG
Nominated by Michael Barlow
The best moment was seeing Daniel Bradshaw come back against the Lions and boot six goals, including a torpedo after the three-quarter time siren.

Greenwood's game-winner from the boundary
North Melbourne v Brisbane Lions, round 11, Etihad Stadium
Nominated by Haydon Dennison
Levi Greenwood's wobbler to take back the lead and win the game for the Roos against the Lions.

Jack's big bag
Richmond v West Coast, round 12, MCG
Nominated by Lorraine Elliott
Riewoldt's 10 goals in the game against West Coast. It gave us Tiger supporters a glance at the future.

Buddy brilliance
Hawthorn v Essendon, round 13, MCG
Nominated by Cameron McInnes
Sitting in the Ponsford stand looking down on Buddy run around the wing and then flank and sinking a miraculous goal not once, but twice. The crowd was going wild and my 11-year-old daughter at her first ever game of AFL turned to me and said, "This is fun!" What a great introduction to footy!

LeCras' dozen
Essendon v West Coast, round 16, Etihad Stadium
Nominated by Sam Grandidge
Mark LeCras' 12 goal effort when the commentator noted, 'Essendon have nine, LeCras has nine!'

Jetta's drought ends
Sydney Swans v Hawthorn, round 19, SCG
Nominated by Anthony Stewart
Lewis Jetta kicking his first goal against the Hawks at the SCG. The build-up was huge - not only had he gone agonisingly close in a few games during the season, on the day his first two attempts both looked like they would drop until fading away at the last moment. Then he kicked one at three-quarter time after the siren that was disallowed. When it finally came it was a pearler of a goal and the crowd went absolutely wild. He will kick 30 goals next season.

Fitting farewell
Sydney Swans v Western Bulldogs, round 21, SCG
Nominated by Yvonne Wang
It's Brett Kirk's last game at the SCG. The great man marks in the 50 after kicking a few goals. From memory, it was the third quarter and the Swans were getting on top against the Doggies. He isn't a long kick and this tests his range, but the legend gets it through and he runs to his teammates pumping his fists into the air as the crowd gives him a standing ovation. What a sight!

Jurrah sees Goddard's mark, and raises it
St Kilda v Richmond, Etihad Stadium and Port Adelaide v Melbourne, AAMI Stadium, both round 21
Nominated by Brad Fraser
The drawn grand final is the obvious choice, but for me it'd have to be Brendon Goddard's sensational mark of the year. That was then outdone by Liam Jurrah the very next day. Two brilliant marks like that in one round of footy is a sight to behold.

Goddard soars again - on the biggest stage
Collingwood v St Kilda, grand final, MCG
Nominated by Aaron Snibson
Brendon Goddard's mark in the grand final. One of the greatest moments in the game.

It's a draw!
Collingwood v St Kilda, grand final, MCG
Nominated by
Ali Collins
The moment the siren rang at the end of the first grand final. The looks on people's faces were priceless.

Shaw's Riewoldt smother
Collingwood v St Kilda, grand final replay, MCG
Nominated by
Andrew Andrikopoulos
Heath Shaw's 'smother of the millennium' was the highlight of 2010. It was the single act that epitomised the desperation needed to win the ultimate prize.

Didak has Pies flying
Collingwood v St Kilda, grand final replay, MCG
Nominated by
Matthew Whitbread
Didak's smother and goal off the right foot in the GF replay. Pure brilliance!
