White was involved in an incident outside a Melbourne nightspot on Tuesday night after leaving a concert.
Police have seized security camera footage from the venue in question, with the altercation reported to have also involved a 23-year-old male.
"We are aware of an altercation on Tuesday night," the Blues said in a statement.
"The club and Simon have been co-operating with police.
"As the matter is being investigated we are not in a position to go into any more detail."
White played against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium on Monday night. The Blues have a bye in round nine.
