While the final team is still to be selected from an initial 32, Matt Campbell, Lindsay Thomas, Cruize Garlett and the experienced Daniel Wells are all in the mix for the match against Richmond on Friday night at Alice Springs.
Campbell will be hoping to emulate his efforts of 2009 when he won the Polly Farmer Medal for a best-on-ground performance against Adelaide.
Indigenous All-Stars coach Michael O'Loughlin says explosive pace and athleticism will help his team overcome the Tigers.
"You always love to have height in your side, and unfortunately for us we're not a very tall team, but we're very, very quick and we're very fit.
"They're taking it very, very seriously. Every time you chuck on the Aboriginal colours it's fair dinkum. I know the guys just can't wait to get to Alice Springs."
