FREMANTLE has bolstered its power forward stocks, landing Rory Lobb from Greater Western Sydney just minutes after a deal to see Jesse Hogan become a Docker became official.
The Giants gave up Lobb and picks No.14, 43 and 47 to Fremantle while they received picks No.11 and 19.
That No.19 selection had only been recently acquired in the swap that made onballer Lachie Neale a Brisbane Lion.
Lobb had been contracted until the end of 2019 but has been given a four-year deal by Freo.
GWS has been open about the pressure on its salary cap and the West Australian is believed to have earned more than $700,000 per year on his contract.

The 25-year-old has played 74 games across his career, lining up in the ruck and in attack.
However, in the Dockers' statement, they said: "it is expected that Lobb will return to a primary forward role at Fremantle".
Dockers football manager Peter Bell lauded Lobb's "excellent character".
"Rory is an exciting acquisition for Fremantle and sits in line with our ongoing strategy of attracting West Australian footballers to the club," Bell told fremantlefc.com.au.
"Rory was very keen to continue his playing career at Fremantle. He is a talented player with excellent character, and we look forward seeing him help guide our young up and coming forwards."
Bell was optimistic about the club's future.
"Through this Trade Period, we've enhanced both the short and long-term prospects of the Fremantle Football Club," Bell said.
"Our three new players in Jesse Hogan, Rory Lobb and (free agent) Reece Conca will all bring something vital to the club in 2019.
"But we can also look beyond the 2019 season knowing that we go into next month’s national draft."

He was originally drafted at No.29 in 2013.
