Saturday morning was a day for the kids, when over 300 Rooey’s Recruits members, aged between five and 15 years, descended on Linen House Oval for their annual football clinic.
Learning the skills of the game with some of their favourite St Kilda players, these young Saints fans had a ball participating in a range of drills. With the activities of the day organised by Camp Australia, in conjunction with the St Kilda Membership department, kids were able to practice their kicking, handballs, tackling and agility.
After a hard game on Friday night, senior players including Nick Riewoldt, Lenny Hayes, Brendon Goddard and Justin Koschitzke turned out for the young members to thank them for their support over the season so far.
