The St Kilda Football Club was proud to support the Alannah and Madeline Foundation which held a special red carpet premiere performance by the Looney Tunes Live at Monash University in Clayton, last night.
The foundation, which works tirelessly to keep children safe from violence, supplied tickets for families who ordinarily would not be able to enjoy such experiences.
All proceeds from the event will go to the foundation and will allow the charity to continue the countless work they are doing to protect children from abuse, such as their Buddy Bags and Better Buddies program.
St Kilda Development Manager Paul Hudson was in attendance with his young son and expressed how much they enjoyed it, saying “It was fantastic to support such an important charity in what was a great night.”
“Having a young child myself it’s really comforting knowing there are charities like the Alannah and Madeline Foundation doing the work they do.”
The foundation’s CEO, Dr Judith Slocombe, said she was “delighted that Warner Bros and Marilla Productions kindly supported The Alannah and Madeline Foundation”.
The Looney Tunes gang, which includes Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety and Sylvester put on a terrific performance in support of a terrific cause.
