BREAK out the duffle coats, Richmond fans, and the pet rocks and the Australian Crawl albums while you're at it, because there's a Rioli in the yellow and black once more.
Maurice Rioli was a star for the Tigers in 118 games between 1982 and 1987, which included winning the Norm Smith Medal in a losing Grand Final in 1982.
And now the late champion's great-nephew Daniel will be playing for the Tigers, after being selected with the 15th pick overall at Tuesday night's NAB AFL Draft. He is also the nephew of Hawthorn star and 2015 Norm Smith medallist Cyril Rioli.
The small forward will bring excitement to the Tigers in 2016, with recruiting manager Francis Jackson saying that the former North Ballarat Rebels player was an easy pick for the Tigers because he was the best available player and he filled a need.
"He brings real excitement," Jackson said. "He has scintillating pace. He's not just quick. He's super-quick and he genuinely provides that for us and he provides defensive pressure. He averages five tackles a game and clearly he kicks goals.
"It's great to have another Rioli back at Richmond and I'm sure he will have a long and successful career."
North Adelaide midfielder Oleg Markov, whose father Dmitri Markov was a former world champion pole vaulter, was selected with pick 50, while mature-aged defender Nathan Broad comes to the club from Swan Districts.

Selection No.15 – Daniel Rioli
"Athletically, he's at the top of the tree and he brings real excitement to the club. We followed him right through the year, not just the TAC Cup, but school games so we watched him all through the year and he's very highly rated." – Recruiting manager Francis Jackson
Selection No.50 – Oleg Markov
"Oleg showed a number of great traits as a 19-year-old playing against men. Once again he's top of the tree athletically, with great speed and vertical leap so he can mark the footy. I think he's versatile and could start up forward, but he will need to do a bit of work to play in a few other positions." – Francis Jackson
Selection No.67 – Nathan Broad
"Perseverance wins the day for Nathan. Rebounding half-back and defender. He played 20 WAFL games, has a high possession rate and can play on the talls and smalls. He offers great versatility." – Francis Jackson
