The Tasmanian was a standout during this year's NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, co-captaining the side to its division two title.
He was also named an All Australian after averaging 27 disposals, and was one of three players to tie for the Harrison Medal, awarded to the best player in division two.

North Melbourne's father-son prospect Luke McDonald is also in the group of 16 medium defenders who will attend the combine at Etihad Stadium the week after the Grand Final.
South Australian Sean Lemmens and Vic Country pair Zak Jones and Louis Herbert are others in the group who impressed through the national carnival.
Another 11 players have been selected to show their wares at state combines.
The AFL has also invited Irishman Daniel Flynn to attend the combine.
The 18-year-old impressed several recruiters who saw him test at the talent combine held in Dublin in February this year, with his speed and agility at a high level.
