WESTERN Bulldogs premiership hero Liam Picken has signed on for another two years.
Picken, who turns 31 in August, finished fifth in the club's best and fairest last year as the Dogs won their first flag since 1954.
The deal sees Picken contracted until the end of 2019.
He told the Dogs' website he didn't have to think much about the decision to re-sign.
"I was just concentrating on footy, so when the club came to me, I was more than happy (to sign). Hopefully we've got some exciting times coming up, so it was an easy decision," Picken said.
Picken was selected at No.30 in the 2008 rookie draft. He played 23 matches in a side that made a preliminary final the following season, and has played at least 20 games every year since then.
He suffered a concussion in round three after being sandwiched between Fremantle's Tommy Sheridan and the ground but was able to get up for the Good Friday clash with North Melbourne.
Despite the pressure of repeating the premiership effort, Picken said he wasn't getting ahead of himself.
"You take every game as it comes. You never put too much expectation on yourself, or the team, so I think it's just about getting the wins on the board early on," he said.
Picken has played 180 games to date.
