AMERICAN prospect Eric Wallace has been delisted by North Melbourne, ending the club's three-year experiment with the athletic ruckman.

Wallace, who played college basketball in the United States for five years before recruiters spotted his talents, was signed as a category B rookie in 2012. 

He was one of three players delisted by the Kangaroos on Tuesday, with the club also parting ways with 29-year-old defender Scott McMahon and rookie Max Warren.

McMahon played 124 games after being recruited in the 2005 Rookie Draft, but he could only manage two matches this season and five in 2014.

Warren only managed one career game, against the Brisbane Lions in 2014, while Wallace didn't debut at AFL level.

"We’d like to thank Scott, Max and Eric for their commitment and dedication to the club during their time at Arden St," football manager Geoff Walsh said.

"Scott, Max and Eric have represented the club extremely well both on and off the field and should be proud of their contributions.

"They have all been true professionals during their time in North colours and we wish them all the very best for the future."

Nathan Grima and Leigh Adams announced their retirements earlier in the year.
