SYDNEY Academy prospect Braeden Campbell starred with three goals in Saturday morning's Under-17s NAB All Stars 'Futures' clash at the MCG.

In the curtain-raiser for the AFL premiership decider, the future Swan helped his side – Team Brown – to a 41-point win over their opposition, Team Dal Santo.

The sides were named after recently retired greats Jonathan Brown and Nick Dal Santo, with the pair giving speeches to the respective sides during the week. The game comprised players eligible for next year’s draft.

Campbell was one of the standouts. He started brilliantly, kicking the opening goal, and continued to impact the game, including a long-range left foot goal.

His work with the ball up for grabs, his disposal and clean hands will have impressed Swans recruiters, with Campbell up for grabs at the 2020 NAB AFL Draft.

He finished with 14 disposals and looks set to follow the likes of Callum Mills, Isaac Heeney and Nick Blakey as graduates of the Swans Academy onto the club's list.

He wasn't alone in impressing ahead of next year's draft, with potential No.1 pick Elijah Hollands dominant. The captain of Team Brown had 24 disposals, five clearances and four inside 50s, plus two classy goals.

The half-forward/midfielder shapes as a very early selection at the 2020 draft, having also featured for Vic Country at this year's under-18 carnival.

Jake Bowey (22 disposals), Will Phillips (21 disposals, one goal and 14 tackles) and Eddie Ford (two goals, 20 disposals) were others to shine for Team Brown, while Collingwood Next Generation Academy product Reef McInnes was exciting with two majors.

Fellow Sydney Academy player Errol Gulden was a standout for Team Dal Santo. The midfielder/small forward gathered 19 disposals, six inside 50s and a goal.

Gold Coast Academy midfielder Alex Davies was also consistent across the game, having found 18 disposals and a goal.
