The Adelaide Football Club has had many great players - and now we want to find out the fans’ favourite past Crow.

Throughout the next month we will use our Facebook fans page http://www.facebook.com/adelaidecrows to run a series of polls to help uncover the footballer rated by Crows supporters as their favourite.

We have started with some simple guidelines, limiting the eligible list to the 30 players who have retired and played at least 100 games for the Crows.

There will be ten heats, with the winner of each heat automatically advancing through to the final 16. The next six highest votegetting players will also advance.

This 16 will be ‘seeded’ according to the number of votes they receive in the heats and fans will then have another chance to vote in eight play-offs.

From the final eight the voting will continue until we have reduced the field to four and then we will be left with the two Crows to ‘play’ in the grand final.

Fans have 72 hours from the time of the Facebook post of each of the 10 heats to have their vote count.

The first heat is between Club games recordholder Andrew McLeod and original Crows Tony McGuinness and Matthew Liptak. So keep an eye on our Facebook page in the coming days and make sure you vote for your favourite Crows. And share your vote if you want your friends to join you.
