AFTER all the highs and lows, the rage trades, the triumph and of course, regret … The big dance is finally upon us and it is officially down to two coaches per league, who have the chance to grab the ultimate bragging rights for the next 12 months.

Tough match-up against the Giants they said. Well try telling Lachie Neale that! He obviously didn’t get the memo about how restrictive GWS has been. Neale put on an absolute clinic, collecting 40 possessions, laying an impressive 12 tackles and kicking a goal for a whopping 169 in a match-winning performance in all Fantasy formats.

Honourable mention: If I had to nominate a Pig this year, it would be hard to say no to Zach Merrett. The young Bomber has been amazing and his game against the Dogs this week was no different, gathering a massive 35 possessions, kicking a goal and laying eight tackles for 148. I doubt the Pigs Tom Rockliff and Dane Swan would turn their snout up at the nomination.

Fantasy Prestigiacomo

After being a mark of consistency since returning to the senior team, Brad Crouch's timing in showing us what the bottom end of his skillset looks like wasn't appreciated by his coaches. The 'ball magnet' was almost unrecognisable, taking no marks and managing just four kicks on his way to 46, all but forcing his coaches hands into purchasing a Duff Man outfit for Monday.

Honourable mention:Popular trade target this week, Stephen Coniglio was a huge disappointment. While his teammates like Ryan Griffen (137) had a field day against the lowly Dockers, Cogs just rolled the legs over for 23 touches and 77 points, falling well short of his average. There was obviously added salt for those that backed his form and match-up to give him captaincy responsibilities.

Why the Pies took so long to give Rupert Wills a game is beyond me. He had another outstanding game, collecting 18 possessions and laying his trademark 10 tackles on his way to 95. No doubt outscoring many of our underperforming premiums as he sits on the bench.

Grundy is the man!

What a legend! Massive game.

Realistically, it is only the 'unknown' of how he will play in a full strength team that is keeping him from serious consideration. Hopefully by the end of next season he has a snout.

Rocky has them well trained haha. But on a serious note, what a legend coming back from that shoulder to dominate once again.
