ISAAC Smith is a certain starter against the Crows on Friday night despite looking restricted in Hawthorn’s first qualifying final last weekend.

Smith suffered a knee injury in Round 23 and was a surprise inclusion in the Hawks’ 32-point loss to West Coast on Friday night.

Smith said he had pulled up well and would definitely line-up again for the clubs cut-throat semi-final.

"I'm not getting withdrawn from any finals, I’m 100 per cent right to go," Smith told Crocmedia’s Sportsday program.

Smith was restricted to just 16 disposals, his second lowest tally for the season and was quizzed as to whether he should have lined up last week.

"It's a really good question but I reckon I should have played," he said.

"I think getting that game in gave me confidence that the knee is strong and I’m 100 per cent confident it will hold up.

"I'm going to have a bit of pain there throughout the final but the knee is definitely strong."

The Hawks face an in-form Adelaide as they push to make their fifth consecutive preliminary final.

"Last week we were all a bit off and hopefully we can get back to helping each other out and playing as a team so we can come away with a big win," Smith said.
