North Legends on show in Benalla

The Benalla legends game this Saturday will see the introduction of the new North-East Region Supporter Group.

Led by Stewart Robertson the new supporter group will be at the game recruiting members for the club.

“Given this region used to be in the club’s zone in the pre-draft days there is a lot of support for the club up here and so we contacted the club and got the wheels in motion for the new supporter group,” Robertson said.

“As well as selling club membership and merchandise and we will also be promoting our group, selling memberships for it, having give-a-ways for the kids and running a raffle - it promises to be a great day.”

Legendary North Melbourne stars, led by former captain Anthony Stevens, have committed to come out of retirement to play in a practice match between Goulburn Valley Football League rivals Benalla and Tatura.
