On Sunday, Scott Thompson, Ryan Bastinac, Todd Goldstein, Andrew Swallow and Daniel Pratt will be making an appearance at one of the year’s most important events; the My Room BBQ Family and Fun Day.
To be held at Glenferrie Oval in Hawthorn, some of football’s other big names will join the Kangaroos including Luke Hodge, Gary Ablett, Dane Swan, Harry O’Brien, Matthew Lloyd, Steven Johnson, Joel Selwood, Brendan Goddard, Sam Newman, Garry Lyon, Billy Brownless, Shane Crawford and Dermott Brereton.
Earlier this year, North Melbourne CEO Eugene Arocca presented the My Room charity with a cheque for $15,000.
With plenty of rides, an animal farm and football clinics to be held throughout the day from 12pm until 3pm, there’s something for everyone.
All money raised will go to the Children’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Children’s Hospital and footy fans are encouraged to visit the Ticketmaster website or purchase unlimited rides wristbands at the gate.
Kids enter free and gold coin donations are appreciated.
