The Eastern Ranges Head of Strength and Conditioning will be responsible for the development and implementation of all Strength and Conditioning practices within the Eastern Ranges’ program. This will include the oversight of all conditioning and will incorporate the collaboration of information from the medical staff to gain perspectives on athlete wellbeing, appropriate rehabilitation processes and high performance conditioning practices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Head of Strength and Conditioning is to perform all the duties to achieve the best conditioning outcome in lieu of getting the athletes to reach Their potential. The conditioning practices within the Eastern Ranges should also be in line with Long Term Athlete Development as a major priority.
The need for a strong working relationship with all staff at Eastern Ranges will be imperative. This will be primarily important between the Talent Manager and the Head Coach.
Minimum Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) – (or Equivalent)
Experience
- Demonstrated experience coaching elite athletes
- Demonstrated Experience in applying evidence based research in a practical setting to deliver Strength, Conditioning and Rehab and Recovery programs.
- Evidence of being able to manage people and programs.
