ADELAIDE is eyeing a move to make Port Adelaide ruckman Billy Frampton the sixth player to feature at the highest level for both crosstown rivals.
AFL.com.au understands the uncontracted 22-year-old will soon meet with the Crows over a possible move for 2020 as he remains stuck on the fringe at Alberton.
The 200cm ruck/forward is behind Scott Lycett, Peter Ladhams, Charlie Dixon and Todd Marshall in key posts, with the Power also holding high hopes for young beanpole Sam Hayes.

While there has been interest elsewhere in Frampton, the Crows appear his most likely destination during Trade Period, which commences on October 7.
The Crows last week bid farewell to three-time Showdown medallist Sam Jacobs and delisted Paul Hunter, leaving depth skinny behind new No.1 ruck Reilly O'Brien.

Pinch-hit forward/ruck Josh Jenkins is also poised to formally request a trade away from the Crows despite two years remaining on his healthy contract.
A move to West Lakes would ensure Frampton joins a small list of players to represent both the Crows and Power at AFL level, with 12 years separating the last trade between the clubs.

The Crows had been waiting to ramp up their pursuit for Frampton until after his season was complete. After being relieved of a one-match suspension at the tribunal, the West Australian played in the Power's losing SANFL Grand Final against Glenelg on Sunday.
Frampton, taken at pick 84 in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft, debuted for one game last year before playing two matches in 2019.
