Key points to the Cats fixture:
- The Cats will play two Friday nights, ten Saturdays and six Sundays.
- There will be four byes including one with the AFL side in June.
- The Cats will play nine times at Simonds Stadium of which four will be curtain raisers to AFL games (Rd 6 v Melbourne, Round 10 v GWS, Round 18 v Adelaide, Round 22 v Western Bulldogs).
- The Cats will again play against Williamstown at Torquay on Easter Sunday after last year's game attracted a crowd of 5000.
- The Cats will play against the Coburg Tigers in Warnambool, a long held heartland of the Cats.
- The Cats will also play away games in Werribee, Bendigo, Sandringham, Parkville, Abbotsford, Ballarat and Parkville.
