This full time role provides an exciting opportunity for a proactive and approachable individual with a strong attention to detail to play an important operational sales & customer service role within the Team Store. The successful candidate will be a primary point of contact for West Coast Eagles members, supporters and the general public visiting or communicating with the Team Store, performing a variety of duties encompassing customer service & member satisfaction, and member & fan engagement initiatives.
These duties include:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to members, supporters and the general public as a key role within the Team Store.
- Undertake the role of first point of face-to-face, telephone and/or electronic contact.
- Administration duties such as managing the processing of online, telephone and mail orders; and managing the incoming & outgoing department mail.
- In conjunction with the Merchandise Coordinator, manage incoming stock deliveries and the organisation of all storage areas.
- Maintain the Team Store environment, including maintaining sufficient stationery supplies, appropriate stock levels, reporting out-of-stock situations and ensuring general cleanliness and tidiness.
- Ensure a proactive approach is taken to engaging with non-members to sell supporter memberships.
- Assist with member engagement initiatives during all home matches.
- Assist with the delivery of member events and other Supporter Operations activities.
- Assist with new ideas and innovation for continued improvement in service/engagement to both internal and external customers.
- Working a Tuesday to Saturday roster which may be reviewed periodically, in line with business requirements.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in a retail sales environment and an understanding & strong commitment to the delivery of outstanding customer service. Experience in apparel sales will be highly regarded.
This role requires assistance at other events as required by the club, the remuneration and benefits provided factor in these requirements.
