HARRISON Wigg has been traded to Gold Coast in a deal that will see Adelaide get pick No.39 in this year's NAB AFL Draft.
The Crows have sent Wigg, pick No.54 and a future fourth-round selection to the Suns in exchange for pick No.39.
Wigg was recruited with pick No.35 in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft but was unable to make his senior debut with the Crows.
The 21-year-old finished just outside the top 10 in the SANFL's 2017 Magarey Medal, impressing consistently as a ball-winning midfielder/half-back and polling a club-high 11 votes.
After three years of development at the Crows, he would be expected to gain senior opportunities at the Suns in 2018.
It is the Suns' second trade after Adam Saad made his way to Essendon in exchange for a future second-round selection.
The Suns are also in negotiations to send champion midfielder Gary Ablett back to Geelong.
Fremantle is standing firm on its demand for pick No.2 in exchange for Lachie Weller, who has requested a trade to the Suns.
