THE TIGER Army's delirious Grand Final celebrations after spilling from the MCG onto nearby Swan St on Saturday night resulted in five arrests and some capsicum spray intervention.
Richmond fans climbed onto buildings and cars as their street party reached its wild peak, but a Victoria Police spokesman told AFL.com.au they were generally "pretty well behaved".
Police are not linking smashed windows at Collingwood Football Club's Holden Centre, on Olympic Blvd, to Grand Final revellers.
"Keeping in mind it was Saturday night … a range of things happen throughout the city, so unless it's to do with the major Grand Final festivities, I'd be hesitant (to link the damage)," the spokesman said.

"Considering the crowd of 100,000 – even the stuff that happened actually at the game – it's not too bad.
"People were really celebrating in Richmond and it's probably a bit messy, (but) five arrests is not too bad."
There were two assault charges among the arrests, one involving a policeman, with the other offences for stealing, being drunk and disorderly and hindering police.
A 28-year-old Northcote man (assault), a 30-year-old Mill Park woman (assaulting a policeman), a 27-year-old Hawthorn East man (stealing), a 25-year-old Blackburn man (drunk and disorderly) and a 20-year-old Camberwell man (hindering police) were arrested.
