THE RESURGENT Brisbane hosts Adelaide at the Gabba in the final game of the round.

The Lions (8-6-1) continued their season revival with a come-from-behind win over the Demons last week to rise into the top eight for the first time all year.

After a shaky start to their season, Brisbane has only lost once in its past eight games and is looking much more ominous with its midfield guns firing as it eyes off the top four. In that stretch of eight games, however, was a draw with the Crows in round nine.

The 14th-placed Adelaide (5-9-1) turned around its lacklustre form to overpower the Giants last week and snap a three-match losing streak.

The Crows are likely too far back to make a late charge towards the finals but a first win at the Gabba since 2018, then backing up when hosting the Saints next week, could give them a glimmer of hope.

Brisbane has regained Jack Payne in place of Darragh Joyce, while the Crows have recalled Brodie Smith for the injured Will Hamill.

TAYLOR Adams will wear the sub vest for Sydney as the Swans look to stretch their lead at the top of the ladder against St Kilda at Marvel Stadium.

The Saints (5-10) fell two points short against Port Adelaide last week to stay languishing in 15th spot on the ladder, while the Swans remain two games clear atop the table despite last week's loss to Fremantle.

SAINTS v SWANS Follow it LIVE

St Kilda has struggled to get going this season, but it could claim the biggest scalp in the competition when it hosts the wounded Swans.

Sydney (13-2) failed to overcome yet another sluggish start in its loss to the Dockers last week and its famed midfield was mostly outplayed, but they will be looking to bounce back against the struggling Saints.

The Saints have made five changes, with the injured Max King joining the injured Anthony Caminiti, Paddy Dow and Riley Bonner, and omitted Tom Campbell on the sidelines. Dougal Howard, Ryan Byrnes, Mattaes Phillipou, Tim Membrey and Ben Paton come in, with Paton named the sub.

The Swans have recalled Robbie Fox and Matt Roberts in place of Harry Cunningham (hamstring) and the omitted Caiden Cleary, with Adams given the sub vest.
