AFTER a week of Fantasy hell, the gods have once again slammed us with more injury concerns.

Gary Ablett (MID, $501,000) headlines the carnage and is 'highly unlikely' to front up this weekend against the Crows, after failing to pass his concussion test on Monday.

Ablett hasn’t been at his best in recent weeks and many Fantasy coaches will jump at the opportunity to trade out the veteran Sun who has averaged just 85 in his last three games.

Ablett is clearly battered and bruised at the moment, and a week off will do him the world of good.

But then you look ahead to round 10, where the Suns fly to Perth to play the Eagles, and again our Fantasy alarm bells are ringing. Ablett will be no certainty to make that flight and a two week rest will have him rejuvenated and ready to go heading into the byes.

Amazingly, he has now dropped $80,000 from his starting price, and therefore your options are limited as to who you can trade in.

Jacob Hopper (MID, $275,000) burst onto the scene last week with a huge 97, but if it’s value you’re after, you can’t look past Ablett’s teammate Darcy MacPherson (MID, 180,000) who backed up his round seven score of 73 with a solid 72 last weekend.

These two young guns are currently the most traded in options, as people seek ways of patching the Ablett hole.

Currently owned by 45 per cent of Fantasy coaches, Daniel Wells (FWD/MID, $398,000) is also another issue that will need to be addressed.

During the week, coach Brad Scott said Wells had recovered from the corked quad that made him miss last week’s game against Essendon, but is now struggling with the same Achilles tendon injury that ended his 2015 campaign.

With the Kangaroos sitting atop the ladder, Scott will not be rushing the star back anytime soon and therefore Wells should be traded out of your team.

With Marcus Adams (DEF, $324,000) and Tom Rockliff (MID, $468,000) missing once again, we can’t bench everyone and some tough decisions must be made.
