The Bombers should regain Stringer and Shiel from their hamstring injuries this week, and Fantasia could also return from his quad strain. There is less known about Hall's status after an awkward landing on his left leg in the VFL. Macmillan was ruled out last week, but should be in contention for Sunday's clash with the Giants. Ebert has been given the all clear to resume playing after travelling to Melbourne on Tuesday to visit a neurologist. The 29-year-old hasn't played since round seven due to concussion symptoms. He will likely return through the SANFL. Rockliff will be assessed this week after he was ruled out of Port's round 11 win against St Kilda in China with a hamstring injury. - Lee Gaskin

Richmond's injury list is now at a season-high of 14 players, 10 of whom played in the 2017 flag as well as first-choice player Short. Martin and Vlastuin need to get through training this week, while Brandon Ellis (groin) is available. Cotchin and Edwards were ruled out on Wednesday, with both expected to be back after next week's bye. Astbury and Lambert will be held out for at least another match to give them a solid break. Short is now running without his elbow brace. – Sarah Black
