NORTH Melbourne has confirmed the acquisition of former Western Bulldogs ruckman Tom Campbell.
The Roos started a dialogue with the discarded Dog post-season, targeting ruck support for Todd Goldstein following Braydon Preuss' departure to Melbourne.
The 27-year-old was able to arrive at Arden Street as part of the new pre-season supplemental selection period (SSP) which opened on Saturday and closes on March 15.
"We obviously identified the need to bolster our ruck division and we are confident Tom can come straight in and will be a great addition to the team," head of football Cameron Joyce said.

"Tom adds further experience and his maturity and character will be a valuable addition to the group."
Campbell played 42 games in seven seasons at Whitten Oval, his last match coming in round 23, 2017 before he was cut at the end of 2018.
He follows Keegan Brooksby (West Coast), Mav Weller (Richmond), Shane Mumford (GWS), Corey Wagner (Melbourne) and Zac Clarke (Essendon) in joining new clubs during the SSP.
Six clubs – Greater Western Sydney, Melbourne, Carlton, Western Bulldogs, Richmond and Gold Coast – have list spots remaining to be filled before the SSP closure.
