BRISBANE will be without Eric Hipwood for its clash against St Kilda, with the key forward a late out for the game at Marvel Stadium.

Hipwood has been ruled out due to groin soreness, with Bruce Reville coming into the Lions' side as the starting sub.

St Kilda has also made a late change, with Angus McLennan to make his AFL debut in place of Ryan Byrnes.

SAINTS v LIONS Follow it LIVE

The Saints have found some late-season form with three victories in their past four matches including a thumping win over Essendon last week.

They have even started to score more heavily, passing the 100-mark in consecutive weeks after only doing so twice before this season, with a change of fortunes that might frustrate as much as excite their fans.

Brisbane has confirmed its place among the most genuine of flag fancies with eight consecutive victories while rising from as low as 13th spot just six weeks ago.

The Lions' assertive style seems especially suited to the dry decks on their home turf, as much as under the roof at this venue where they have won eight of 10 matches since the start of 2021.

Co-captain Harris Andrews returns for the Lions, while the Saints have included Mattaes Phillipou and Paddy Dow in place of Hunter Clark and Hugo Garcia.
