The AFL has today announced a price freeze on all entry level tickets for all matches at all venues across all four weeks of the 2024 Toyota AFL Finals Series, including the 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final.

Entry level tickets for weeks one to three of the finals series have remained at 2016 prices – a nine-year price freeze - with Weeks One and Two frozen at $35 and Week Three frozen at $65.

The $185 entry level reserved seat ticket price for the Grand Final has been frozen for the sixth year in a row, since 2019.

The 2024 Toyota AFL Finals pricing structure follows the AFL's continued commitment to affordability in a season which saw General Admission tickets frozen for the tenth year in a row, free access to Gather Round tickets for all members, Kids Go free nationally over the recent school holiday period, a price freeze on footy food at Marvel Stadium, and under 18s continuing to be free at all NAB AFLW matches, and most recently Kids Go Free for Round 24 in Victoria.

AFL Executive General Manager Customer and Commercial Kylie Rogers said the price freeze was put in place to honour the commitment members and fans continue to make to their clubs.

"Our season continues to deliver the best of our game, with a record breaking 1.27 million members and so far more than 6.7 million fans attending matches around the country - extraordinary numbers and a testament to all supporters and members barracking for their clubs," Ms Rogers said.

"Our commitment remains to keep finals footy prices as an affordable option and thank the members and fans who have supported their clubs through the ups and downs.

"We have such an exciting couple of months ahead, the thrilling crescendo of the men’s home and away season, into our 2024 NAB AFLW Season, and the 2024 Toyota AFL Finals Series."

Ticket on-sale dates will be communicated shortly with members to get first access to finals tickets.

All other categories in weeks one to three will increase by a flat five per cent.

In regard to the 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final, competing club members receive the biggest allocation of tickets to the season's biggest match, with the AFL recently announcing an additional 1000 tickets to club members.

The two competing club members, AFL members and MCC members will have access to approximately 75,000 tickets.

Competing club members receive the largest allocation of 35,000 (17,500 each), followed by MCC members, AFL and Medallion Club members, followed by other stakeholders (corporate and broadcast partners, clubs) and then premium hospitality experiences.

Grand Final entry level reserved seat prices remain at $185, with a flat 10% increase on all other categories.

The most expensive Toyota AFL Grand final ticket in 2024 will be $493 (compared to $448 in 2023).

Ticketing categories for the 2024 Toyota AFL Finals Series will align closely with those utilised by venues during the AFL home and away season.

For the MCG, this will be location-based categories (eg. Level 1, Level 2) to assist fans and provide improved visibility on which area they are purchasing a ticket, including the Toyota AFL Grand Final, for all other Finals venues these will be organised by seating class (eg. Category 1, Category 2).

"The Toyota AFL Grand Final is one of the biggest and best sporting events in the world and the fortunate reality is we could sell out the 100,000 seat MCG four times over,"  Ms Rogers said.

"For the ticketing release in September we will always prioritise our competing club members, with the biggest share of tickets available to those two competing clubs, and this year more available to those members."
