Richmond supporter group Club80 continues to provide the Tigers with strong financial backing.
Club80 was formed more than 10 years ago, with the express purpose of raising money for Richmond’s football department.
Since its formation, Club80 has raised over $200,000 in funds, through the six or seven well-supported, ‘Tiger-centric’ football functions it holds each year.
Richmond’s General Manager of Football, Craig Cameron, recently received a $60,000 cheque from Club 80, to help pay for the Sportstec computer program used by the Tiger coaches and recruiting department.
But Club80’s generous commitment to the Yellow and Black cause didn’t end there, with the supporter group also donating a further $5000 to Richmond’s Fighting Tiger Fund.
Club80, which currently has more than 200 members, has its own website, www.club80.com.au, which contains many photos from the functions it has held, and other information about the supporter group.
