The AFL has today confirmed the fixture for the 2024 Coates Talent League preliminary finals.

Entry to all Coates Talent League matches is free, with all preliminary finals available to be streamed live and free on the Coates Talent League app.
The 2024 Coates Talent League Boys season again featured 12 teams from Victoria and one from Tasmania for the full season.
Academy programs from New South Wales (GWS GIANTS and Sydney Swans), Queensland (Gold Coast SUNS and Brisbane Lions) and Northern Territory (NT Academy) competed in a selection of games early in the season ahead of the Marsh AFL National Championships.
Only teams from Victoria and Tasmania feature in the finals series.
Finalists competed in two conferences during last weekend’s quarter finals. One conference featured metropolitan teams, while the other conference featured country teams and the Tasmania Devils.
Teams were ranked within their conference based on ladder positions at the end of the home and away season. Rankings for the boys competition also took into account Wildcard Round results.
The two conferences will compete against each other during this weekend’s preliminary finals.
The first preliminary final will be played between the first quarter final winner and the fourth quarter final winner. The second preliminary final will be played between the second quarter final winner and the third quarter final winner.
