Two of Sydney's emergencies Jordan Dawson and Dean Towers were held over as precaution for any late setbacks, but they weren't needed.

Toby Greene (hamstring), Brett Deledio (calf) and Matt de Boer (hamstring) come in for the Giants for their first game since the club's round 20 win over Carlton, while Zac Williams will make his first senior appearance of the season.

The star defender ruptured his Achilles at training in January but managed to get back for two NEAFL games during the home and away season.

He's the first man to play his first game of a season in a final since Western Bulldogs forward Andrew Hooper did it against the Swans in 2010.
