ST KILDA is set to unleash some of its biggest names in Saturday night's NAB Cup qualifying final against Geelong at Etihad Stadium.

A number of senior players, including skipper Nick Riewoldt, sat out last weekend's pool matches against the Brisbane Lions and Essendon, but the Saints will field a much stronger line-up this time around.

"I think Lenny Hayes, Riewoldt and Farren Ray are a big chance," St Kilda defender Jason Blake said at a press conference Thursday morning.

"We have another training session to get through but that should be their first game for the year and they're excited."

St Kilda has built a strong rivalry with Geelong in recent years. They played off in the 2004 NAB Cup Grand Final and since then have met in numerous finals in the regular season.

"They're a quality team, so we're looking forward to a really great contest," Blake said.

"We've got some young guys coming in and playing really well, so it will be interesting to see how they go.

"We play to win and I'm sure Geelong do the same thing.

"We'll be going hard at the ball and practicing all our structures and set-ups, so I think you'll see 100 percent from all the guys and it will be a great game."

Blake admits the Saints have no option but to use the consecutive Grand Final losses to Geelong and Collingwood as motivation for this year.

"I think the guys are as hungry as I have ever seen them," he said. "I think they're more committed, and our training, our time-trials and our skills have shown that.

"Guys are achieving personal-best times. They're very hungry and very focussed and we want success."

Jason Blake is a $293,300 defender in the Toyota AFL Dream Team competition.
