PAUL Bevan talks to sydneyswans.com.au about his season highlight, what he will be working on in pre-season and his plans for the break...
What was the highlight of the 2010 season for you from a team perspective?
The new players that have come to the Club have really bought into what we believe in and the culture.
How about personally - what was your highlight?
My form towards the later stages of the year - I thought I played ok. I got swung around forward and back, but I thought I adjusted pretty well.
Which team-mate impressed you the most throughout the season and why?
Ben McGlynn - definitely for me. Just the way he came to the Club and lives our trademarks and he’s one of the hardest players I’ve seen. To come into a new Club and get the respect of the players is great.
What parts of your game would you like to improve on in season 2011?
Maybe just touch up on a few defensive things; I had a few goals kicked on me in some games so that’s probably the area I’ll work on in the pre-season.
You also kicked a couple of goals this year - is that a part of your game you’d also like to develop further?
Hopefully, I’m not too sure where they’re looking at playing me next year but if they say forward I’ll work on those sorts of areas too.
What are your plans for the break?
Mainly, I’ll be staying around here in Sydney. But I’ll be off to Bali for two weeks just to unwind over there.
