Hill's hanger wins 2024 Virgin Australia AFL Mark of the Year, earning $50k and becoming an instant points millionaire

Bobby Hill's spectacular mark in Round 14 has won the 2024 Virgin Australia AFL Mark of the Year, receiving $50,000 and two million Velocity Points thanks to Virgin Australia, the official airline of the AFL.

He beat teammate Jamie Elliott and North Melbourne’s Zane Duursma to clinch the the Alex Jesaulenko Medal at tonight’s Charles Brownlow Medal.

Hill soared above Jackson Archer, Charlie Comben and Billy Frampton at the top of the goal-square to take an incredible mark, landing on his feet at Marvel Stadium.

Virgin Australia Executive, Libby Minogue said how thrilled they were to sponsor the award and their ability to make the winner a Velocity Points millionaire.

Hill's mark in Round 14 against North Melbourne was voted the overall winner by a combination of votes from the AFL All-Australian Panel and the public. 

Everyone who voted for their favourite mark also went in the running to win $5,000 thanks to Virgin Australia.
