Armed with bags of Christmas presents, including West Coast Eagles posters, backpacks, scarves and footies, players Mark Nicoski, Matt Rosa, Dean Cox, Quinten Lynch, Bradd Dalziell, Josh Hill, Murray Newman and Fraser McInnes headed to PMH to wish the patients and their families a very merry Christmas.

Despite being fresh off the back of a career-best season, Nicoski was the first to admit that life isn’t just about football, and that the visit to PMH helped put the daily demands of an AFL footballer in to perspective.
“I’m not a parent, but I’m an uncle to a couple of young kids and if anything were to happen, you’d want them to be treated and looked after as best as possible,” Nicoski said.
“It’s not always just about playing football and playing it really well. We’ve got an opportunity to have an impact on a lot of other people and this is just one aspect of that.
“It’s always great to get up to PMH and spend a little bit of time with the kids before Christmas,” he added.
