HIGH-flying Hawthorn will fly to Tasmania on Monday to celebrate their 2008 Toyota AFL Premiership success with their supporters in the Apple Isle.

Hawks coach Alastair Clarkson and captain Sam Mitchell will head to Hobart while the remaining players will fly to Launceston.

The club on Saturday celebrated its first premiership flag in 17 years by defeating Geelong by 26 points at the MCG.

Hawthorn's major sponsor is the Tasmanian government and the Hawks play four home-and-away matches each year in Launceston.
