HE MAY have missed out on selection in the Virgin Australia AFL All Australian team, but Josh Kennedy remains king with Sydney fans.
Giving their season verdict on the Swans in an AFL.com.au survey, 51 per cent of fans named the first-year Sydney captain their player of the season.
A storming finish followed the Swans' nightmare 0-6 start before they finally ran out of steam in a semi-final thumping by Geelong.
Sydney fans rated their side's season just 6.7 out of 10, citing the disastrous start and twin losses against Hawthorn as two of the contributing factors to an ultimatelt disappointing year.
