A unique opportunity exists to join the Club in the role of People and Culture Manager. Committed to transforming to a high achievement culture, the PAFC recognises the importance the People & Culture function plays in positioning the Club for greater on and off-field success.

Reporting to the CEO, you will have the opportunity to work closely with leaders in implementing critical People and Culture strategies for our Club. You will contribute at a strategic level whilst retaining a pragmatic "hands on" approach bringing expertise in the areas of culture change, leadership development, talent management, change management and performance management as well as utilising your expertise in contemporary HR and OD practice.

A key to your success in this role will be your ability to deal effectively with day to day issues, whilst also having the capacity to operate strategically at the senior level.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Providing advice, coaching and support to leaders on strategic people and culture issues
  • Identifying, developing and implementing value added solutions which drive a high achievement culture; 
  • Implementing the Club talent retention strategy
  • Facilitating leadership development across the Club (including training and coaching)
  • Ensure effective implementation of people processes, recruitment, induction and succession planning
  • Facilitating integration and collaboration across departments
  • Leading change management activities and sharing critical cultural insights to support effective change

You will also have the following:

  • A strong track record of effective HR/OD business partnering
  • High energy and a pro-active approach to drive the People & Culture change agenda;
  • Outstanding influencing and relationship management skills;
  • A track record of delivering pragmatic, tailored people & culture solutions;
  • Responsive and flexible in your approach
  • Able to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline are essential
