Hannah Munyard's remarkable goal in Week Six against St Kilda has been voted the 2024 NAB AFLW Goal of the Year.

The 23-year-old received a handball on the boundary near the forward flank before outpacing several Saints defenders and slotting a checkside goal from the pocket.

Her goal was announced as the winner at tonight’s W Awards over goals from finalists Gemma Houghton in Week Seven and Deanna Berry in Week Nine.

The Crows forward received $50,000 thanks to NAB, with $10,000 also donated to Mt Barker Football Club – Munyard's community football club.

NAB Group Executive Business and Private Banking, Rachel Slade, said NAB was proud to support another outstanding year in footy and honour Hannah Munyard with the 2024 NAB AFLW Goal of the Year.

"It has been a pleasure to celebrate the remarkable goals scored this season and we know Hannah is a worthy winner."

"We also want to highlight the pivotal role that Mt Barker Football Club has had in nurturing Hannah’s early football journey. We are delighted to contribute $10,000 to support the club and its future stars.”

Munyard's goal in Week Six was voted the overall winner by a combination of votes from the AFLW All-Australian Panel and the public.

Members of the public who voted for their favourite goal also went in the running to win $5,000 thanks to NAB.
