It was a breakout year for Sharrod Wellingham who cemented his place in one of the premier midfield groups in the competition.  Played 24 games in his third season of senior footy and proved he was a durable and consistent Magpie.  Overcame an ankle injury suffered in the qualifying final win to play the final three games. Kicked two goals and laid eight tackles in the big one.

2010 highlights

Round 19 v Geelong: Anytime you receive three Brownlow votes for a performance against the reigning premiers deserves a mention.  His fourth two-goal haul of the season was complemented by 23 disposals, six marks and five tackles.
