IT SEEMS like everything is coming up roses for West Coast at the moment. The Eagles are second on the ladder, hold a four-game winning streak and their midfield is flying.
Leading the way is reigning Brownlow medallist Matt Priddis but it is a young mid - in red-hot form - who we're interested in for this column.
Andrew Gaff is just 23, and when the Match Review Panel suspended Drew Petrie last Monday for striking, they also handed the hard-running Eagle the baton as the League's current consecutive games king.
Gaff has played 93 straight games, 12 short of Petrie's unbroken run before the North Melbourne forward was outed for hitting Andrew Mackie last Saturday.
Gaff is also tracking another record. Domain Stadium hasn't seen a Gaff-free Eagles game since early 2011, making him the current leader for most games played at one venue without a miss.
Check out who else is challenging history this weekend.
