WESTERN Australia and Victoria will play a women's exhibition curtain-raiser at Domain Stadium ahead of Friday's night AFL clash between Fremantle and Richmond.
The match will feature 30 of the players who participated in the AFL women's exhibition game between Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs on May 24 at the MCG.
Kara Donnellan, who starred in Melbourne's eight-point win with 23 disposals, will captain the WA side, while the Demons' captain Daisy Pearce will represent Victoria.
Melbourne's victorious coach Michelle Cowan will coach the WA side.
Cowan is also an assistant coach with WAFL club South Fremantle.
It is another opportunity for the best female footballers in the country to showcase their skills ahead of the second women's exhibition clash between Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs that is scheduled for August 16 at Etihad Stadium.
