The AFL wishes to advise the Tribunal will not sit tonight, Tuesday July 14, after all players accepted the sanctions offered by the Match Review Panel from its review of the matches played in round 15 of the 2015 Toyota AFL Premiership Season:
Sanctions Accepted:
Taylor Adams, Collingwood, has accepted a two-match sanction kneeing Justin Westhoff, Port Adelaide, during the third quarter of the Round 15 match between Collingwood and Port Adelaide, played at Adelaide Oval on Thursday July 9, 2015.
Ty Vickery, Richmond, has accepted a two-match sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Michael Jamison, Carlton, during the first quarter of the Round 15 match between Richmond and Carlton, played at the MCG on Friday July 10, 2015.
Joel Selwood, Geelong Cats, has accepted a one-match sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Sam Wright, North Melbourne, during the second quarter of the Round 15 match between the Geelong Cats and North Melbourne, played at Etihad Stadium on Saturday July 11, 2015.
Drew Petrie, North Melbourne, has accepted a one-match sanction for striking Andrew Mackie, Geelong Cats, during the third quarter of the Round 15 match between North Melbourne and the Geelong Cats, played at Etihad Stadium on Saturday July 11, 2015.
Billy Longer, St Kilda, has accepted a $1500 sanction been charged with charged with striking Lachie Whitfield, GWS Giants, during the first quarter of the Round 15 match between St Kilda and the GWS Giants, played at Spotless Stadium on Sunday July 12, 2015.
Nathan Fyfe, Fremantle, has accepted a $1500 sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Taylor Duryea, Hawthorn, during the first quarter of the Round 15 match between Fremantle and Hawthorn, played at Aurora Stadium on Sunday July 12, 2015.
Sam Mitchell, Hawthorn, has accepted a $1500 sanction for kneeing Nat Fyfe, Fremantle, during the second quarter of the Round 15 match between Hawthorn and Fremantle, played at Aurora Stadium on Sunday July 12, 2015.
All media should please note this was Sam Mitchell’s second classified offence of the 2015 season, not his first, after a previous penalty in round eight.
Jeremy Laidler, Sydney Swans, has accepted a $1000 sanction for striking Allen Christensen, Brisbane Lions, during the second quarter of the Round 15 match between the Sydney Swans and the Brisbane Lions, played at the Gabba on Sunday July 12, 2015.
