TRAVIS Cloke wore a non-approved glove in the Magpies' wins over Carlton and Greater Western Sydney on Saturday, but the Collingwood forward has escaped penalty after assuring the AFL he will not do so again.
Cloke was a regular glove wearer in the past but had not worn one for about a year prior to injuring two fingers on his right hand ahead of Collingwood's round 15 clash against Carlton.
In an effort to protect his fingers, the Magpie veteran wore a slightly different glove to those he had previously worn, against the Blues and again last Saturday against GWS.
Cloke mistakenly believed the new glove had been approved by the AFL.

The AFL contacted Collingwood on Monday seeking clarification about Cloke's glove, and club officials met with the League on Tuesday.
The Magpies were informed at the meeting Cloke's glove was not on the AFL's approved list, and the club gave an assurance Cloke would seek League approval for any gloves he wore from now on.
AFL football operations manager Mark Evans said the League would assess Cloke's case further on Wednesday.
"We normally like to see the gloves and test them in some fashion before giving approval," Evans told radio station 3AW.
"We've just received Collingwood's response to that today and we’ll deal with that tomorrow."
After a difficult start to 2016, Cloke returned to form against the Giants, kicking 4.1 and taking a game-high 12 marks.
