The 23-year-old has flourished since returning to Port Adelaide having been traded from West Coast ahead of the 2012 season.
Ebert, nephew of club legend and four-time Magarey Medalist Russell, played for the Magpies before he was drafted west and his father Craig notched 112 senior SANFL games.
The star midfielder said that to continue his family's association with the club played a part in his return from Western Australia.
“I’ve had a fair few family members play at the club and that was a big reason for me to come back (from West Coast) to play for the club I loved and followed growing up,” Ebert told Port Adelaide's website.
“It’s exciting to continue that on for the next few years.
“We’ve set a foundation to keep growing with the players and coaches who are helping to lead this club back to the top.
“It means we need to work hard at it and I think we’re all on the same page when it comes to making the most of this pre-season.
Power coach Ken Hinkley described Ebert as the ultimate professional and praised his leadership.
“The best way to describe Brad, which I believe is the ultimate compliment for any footballer, is that he’s a pro,” Hinkley said.
“A ‘pro’ doesn’t leave anything in the tank, gets the most out of his ability and gives his all to the cause.
“He is totally committed to our cause and wants to make sure his football club is the best it can be.
“He’s clearly a strong leader as our vice-captain and will continue to set the example for our group for many years to come."
