GEELONG midfielder Sam Menegola has no case to answer following an awkward tangle with Scott Thompson that left the North Melbourne defender with a concussion.
It came as the Match Review handed out three fines from the weekend, with Collingwood's Jack Madgen, Richmond's Toby Nankervis and Sydney's Ryan Clarke all sanctioned.

Menegola's incident with Thompson from Saturday night was assessed by Michael Christian, though he was ultimately left with no case to answer following the collision.
The Match Review's statement read: "Thompson is immediately dragged to ground by Menegola and high contact results. It was the view of the MRO that Menegola's actions were not unreasonable in the circumstances. No further action was taken."
