Congratulations to Junior Member Jake Romeo who is the lucky winner of the July school holidays AFL World Competition!
Every AFL Member who visited AFL World throughout the July school holidays went in the draw to win a children's birthday party at the venue for themselves (if they were under 15) or a junior of their choice if they were above this age.
The draw was conducted on Monday and Jake was drawn as the recipient of the prize. Jake will be able to celebrate his next birthday at AFL World and take 'to the field' with 9 of his friends to embark on the footy adventure of a lifetime. Throughout the party, the group will participate in Australia's most 'state of the art' interactives and become an AFL player, experiencing Grand Final Week through the eyes of a professional footballer. Activities on the day will include testing their kicking skills against some of the games greats in 'Kick for Goal'; create their own piece of history from the Herald Sun Sports Desk; experience that one magical day in September in the Changing Room and Grand Final Theatre; as well as visit Mascot Manor and try out the new Handball Skills Race.
The 'match' will end with a 45 minute celebration with AFL Worlds fun party food and a surprise visit from Jake's club mascot!
